1. General Provisions of These Terms

They form a legally effective agreement between you and Melin Nook Games, covering the official website, game software, and all supporting functions (collectively referred to as the "Service").

1.2 If you do not agree to these Terms or any future amendments, you must cease using the Service immediately and uninstall the relevant applications. If we require you to explicitly confirm the revised Terms, you may only continue using the Service after accepting such revisions.

1.3 You will be presented with these Terms on the platform where you obtained the Game (such as Apple App Store, Google Play, or other distribution channels). By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and the Melin Nook Games Privacy Policy.

1.4 Before using the Service, you confirm that you have the necessary legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you lack such capacity, a legal guardian must review, accept, and consent to your use of the Service on your behalf.

1.5 Melin Nook Games reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect will be deemed acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Access and Usage Rules

2.1 For each game, specific gameplay rules, scoring mechanisms, operation guidelines, and community norms are governed by in-game instructions, which are an integral part of these Terms. You agree to comply with all in-game rules.

2.2 The Service may experience temporary outages or access limitations due to scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, technical failures, or other unforeseen events. Melin Nook Games shall not assume any extra liability for such interruptions.

3. Violating Behaviors and Consequences

3.1 If we determine that you have materially breached these Terms (including repeated minor violations), we may take the following actions without prior notice:

  • Delete, suspend, or adjust your account or any content within it;
  • Restrict or terminate your access to all or part of the Service.

3.2 You agree to indemnify Melin Nook Games, its subsidiaries, employees, and agents against any claims, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Copyrights, trademarks, trade designations, and other intellectual property rights in the Service and its content (excluding User-Generated Content for which you hold rights) are owned by Melin Nook Games or its licensors and protected by law.

4.2 Provided that you continue to comply with these Terms, Melin Nook Games grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and withdrawable license to access and use the Service solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include any rights to source code or object code. All updates, patches, or additions to the Service are subject to these Terms.

4.3 For any content you submit through the Service (including contest entries):

  • a. You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to submit it;
  • b. You grant Melin Nook Games and its subsidiaries a global, permanent, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display it in any existing or future media;
  • c. To the extent permitted by law, you waive all moral rights in such content;
  • d. Melin Nook Games is not obligated to monitor, protect, or enforce any of your rights in such content.

5. Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Melin Nook Games shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages incurred by you due to accessing or using the Service;
  • Loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, or other intangible losses;
  • Acts or content of third parties on the Service;
  • Unauthorized access, use, or modification of your transmissions or content;
  • Other matters related to the Service.

6. Complete Agreement

These Terms form the complete agreement between you and Melin Nook Games regarding the Service and replace all previous agreements, whether oral or written.

7. Amendments to These Terms

Melin Nook Games may amend these Terms by releasing a new version within the Service. Major changes will become effective 30 days after release (or a shorter period if required by law).

8. Severability Clause

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be construed to best reflect its original intent, and the remaining provisions shall remain fully valid and effective.

9. Waiver Provision

Melin Nook Games' failure or delay in exercising any right or remedy under these Terms shall not amount to a waiver of such right or any subsequent breach. Any waiver must be in writing and executed by an authorized representative to be valid.
